Superstar Rajnikanth met media today, and during this meet, the actor was questioned on various issues including NPR, NCR and CAA, the income tax department case filed against him, and the summons he has received in the Thoothukudi shoot out issue.

Rajnikanth said that NPR is essential and that Congress had taken steps to implement it in 2010 and 2015, and it must be done in 2021 to determine people who have migrated to India from other countries, and regarding NCR, the government has not decided to implement and is under consideration.

The actor said that CAA does not affect Indians, and in particular it does not have any impact on Muslims and it is the false fear spread by political parties. Rajnikanth said that if there is any step taken against Indian Muslims, he will be the first person to voice out in support of Muslims, and advised students to discuss with elders and think before protesting. He said that he is a prompt, honest taxpayer and that he did not do anything illegal. Rajnikanth had also said he has not received any summon yet.
