Superstar Rajnikanth reveals his wish to act in this role!

Superstar Rajnikanth, who had last acted in Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj will be seen next in the action movie Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss. This movie produced by Lyca Productions, will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, and the trailer of the movie was launched yesterday in Mumbai.
During the trailer launch event and the interaction with media, one of the reporters questioned Rajnikanth on what genre he has not attempted so far, and Rajnikanth responded that he has touched every genre in his 45 year long career crossing 160 films, and said that he wished to play a transgender on screen.
Darbar which is set in Mumbai will have Rajnikanth playing the commissioner of police named Aaditya Arunasalam, and the movie also stars Lady Superstar Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Prateik Babbar, Suniel Shetty, Yograj Singh and has music by Anirudh and cinematography by Santosh Sivan.
