Actor Rajnikanth and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa were at loggerheads not long ago.

The duo was against at each other's throat regularly. But things have changed now.

The actor in recent days has heaping praises on Jayalalithaa. At a felicitation function organized by Kollywood, Rajnikanth described her as Dhairiya Lakshmi (Goddess of Valor).

So with a thaw in their relationship, it is but natural for Rajni to invite her for his daughter's wedding.

Rajnikanth along with his wife Latha and director Kasthoori Raja and Dhanush met Jayalalithaa at her residence at Poes Gardens and handed over an invitation for reception yesterday.

Later the couple went to former TN CM Dr M Karunanidhi’s house in Gopalapuram. They were received by Dhayalu Ammal (w/o of MK) . The superstar and his wife exchanged pleasantries with Karunanidhi and wife and invited him to come for the wedding.

Rajni's daughter Aishwarya is all set to marry actor Dhanush tomorrow. The wedding would be a private affair with family members alone from both sides invited to participate.

The wedding takes place in the Superstar’s Poes Garden house . The muhurtham is at 10.45 am on November 18th.

The wedding reception would be held at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiyar Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai on 20 November.

Kamalhassan was one of the persons who were invited by the Superstar and his wife. Only 80 invitations would be given by the Superstar’s family . The invitations for the reception would come through PRO’s.
