The title of the upcoming film directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, in which actor Sivakarthikeyan is going to play the lead role, was announced as 'Amaran' yesterday itself. Already, the teaser video attached to the title has started to trend on the internet.

Amarana, an interesting plot with Karthik in 1992, was directed by K. Rajeshwar. This was also a super hit. In such connections, director Rajkumar Periyasamy has taken to social media to share that 'Amaran' is the first word written for the film's script, which by itself means immortal, warrior, and divine.

Rajkumar Periyasamy further thanked director K. Rajeswar for kindly accepting to give them the title. He also expressed his gratitude to both Karthik and his son Gautham Karthik, who acted in the 1992 film, for recommending him to get this title.
