Buzz is out that the much talked, Rajkumar Hirani helmed untitled - starring Ranbir Kapoor which is a biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt will go on floors on the 14th of January.

Ranbir Kapoor will be slipping into Sanjay Dutt's shoe and the actor has already began with preparations for his role.

It is said that the shooting will commence in Mumbai covering the crucial scenes first followed by schedules in other parts of the country. The film which is currently untitled is finding its title.

The filmmaker last year had captured Sanjay Dutt's exit from Yerwada Jail in Pune, with the thought of including it in the biopic. Ranbir and Rajkumar Hirani have already started with the pre - production work.

Ranbir Kapoor has been going through the script over and over again. The actor is witnessed spending plenty of time in Rajkumar Hirani's office reading the script.

The untitled biopic seems very intriguing as it will be the first biopic made on a Bollywood star.

One of the most awaited films of 2017, this film is set to have a Christmas release. Raju had last released his blockbuster film 'PK' starring Aamir Khan during Christmas.
