Rajkumar Hirani nowadays talks less and reads more

Ace filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, who met with a bike accident earlier last month, has been recuperating at home in the company of books.

Hirani suffered injuries on his face and shoulder. The 52-year-old even had to undergo jaw surgery, and was advised complete rest.

To pass time, the director, producer has not only been watching movies, but he has also been busy reading.

"Hirani is an avid reader, and has an exhaustive collection of books. Due to his jam-packed schedule, he rarely gets enough time to read. So, he is happy he is spending this recuperation period reading several books that were on his list," says the source.

The insider further reveals that his doctors have asked him to follow a semi-solid and liquid diet, so as to not strain his jaw. He has also been asked not to talk much.
