After creating history in Bollywood with 'PK' collecting record breaking numbers, the film is all set to release in Japan now. We were told that its director Rajkumar Hirani has already headed to the country for the release of his film. As a matter of fact, this is the first time Hirani would be visiting the Land of the rising Sun. The Japanese market is not very big with Indian films usually and so there are only a handful of films that have been released there. Only the big ticket and super successful films like 'Dhoom 3' and 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' have released in the Japanese market.

Rajkumar Hirani's last film, '3 Idiots' had also released in Japan. It not just released there, but also did fantastic business. The director received a lot of praise and appreciation from the audiences there and the film also gave Rajkumar Hirani added fan following. Shared Hirani, "After the overwhelming response that 3 Idiots received in Japan, I am even more excited to take PK there. I am looking forward to the audience's reactions to the film and hope they love this one too." On being asked if he is looking at any collaboration, he added, "I'm going to meet some contemporary film makers and actors from Japan and am looking forward to it. Have no plans of collaborations yet."

Now his fans there cannot wait for the release of his next release after all these years. There is a lot of anticipation and excitement among all his fans and cine goers there.
