Rajkiran was actually a distributor and producer before venturing into acting. His Red Sun Movies was known for delivering hits when Tamil cinema was ruled by rural themes and Illayaraja’s music.

After a gap, he is back into production now. Our sources say that the actor’s production venture will be directed by Larencce, which whom he shared the screen space in ‘Muni’.

Circles close to the choreographer-turned-actor-turned-filmmaker too confirm this saying that the movie would go on floors soon. “It will be a film with a difference aptly marking the reentry of Rajkiran as a producer,” they say.

“Both Larencce and Rajkiran will play the lead roles. An official announcement will be made soon,” they add.
