Actress Rajisha Vijay who is prepping up for the release of her Tamil debut Karnan alongside Dhanush, will be next seen as a Kho Kho coach in her next Malayalam movie. Titled Kho Kho, the movie is directed by Rahul Riji Nair, who earlier helmed Ottamuri Velicham and Dakini.

The first look poster of the movie was released on Friday.

Talking about the film in an interview with TOI, the filmmaker said that Rajisha will appear as a coach and a former athlete. As you know Rajisha had already proved her athletic skills in the sports drama Finals. “The film is about how a kho kho team is formed in a girls’ high school in an island village. It’s a sport that many might have played in their childhood and it’s even included in the National Games; but it’s not popular as some of the other games," said Rahul.

Apart from Rajisha, the movie will also have 15 children who play Kho Kho as part of the cast. As the movie is set in an island, the shoot is expected to begin by next month even in the COVID-19 situation.
