Rajini's Vikramasimha very unlikely for Diwali

Soundarya's magnum opus, Kochadaiyan, would be released as Vikramasimha in Telugu. This now-long-in-the-making movie is being made on Motion Capture, a technology unseen before on the Indian screen. For some days, it has been said that the movie may not be done by Diwali, when it was earlier scheduled for release.

This Rajinikanth-starrer, to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Japanese and German, among others, is currently being given some technical touches abroad. Its scheduled release was a foregone conclusion, and even Mumbai circles had been touting it as the unexceptionable competitor of SRK's untitled flick and Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardar.

However, with rumours of the film seeing inordinate delay, the Hindi superstars will heave a sigh of relief. Besides Deepika Padukone, the technical finesse and the mythical nature of the film's subject have been much talked about nationally. The extraordinariness of Rajini's pan-Indian image is the film's greatest qualification.
