Rajinikanth and director K S Ravikumar share a good rapport. The two had earlier combined together to render blockbusters in Muthu and Padayappa.

Now even though Rajinikanth was busy shooting for AVM's Sivaji, he managed to take time off from his busy schedule to watch Ravikumar's Godfather at a special screening arranged at his house by the director.

God Father stars Ajith in three different roles with Asin acting opposite him. Unfortunately due to financial constraints the release has been delayed.

Rajinikanth, who watched the movie was bowled over by the script and screenplay. He lauded both Ravikumar and Ajith for giving their heart out for the movie.

Wondering why such a good movie is still finding it difficult to see the light of the day, Rajinikanth is reported to have said, 'This movie would click in spite of a delay in its release'. welcome words for a beleaguered team.
