Rajinikanth has reportedly given a bulk of dates for his next with director Karthik Subbaraj. It's learned that the untitled, ambitious movie will be shot in North India for about 40 days at a stretch. In the main, it will be canned in places like Darjeeling and Dehra Dun.
After this schedule, a hiatus will follow. The movie will then be filmed in Chennai for almost 30 days.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film stars Vijay Sethupathy as Rajini's antagonist. Recently, the film's director made it clear that the film will be a light-hearted one. The 'Kaala' star will be shot in a new light without disappointing his diehard fans. This film could release just a few months after Shankar's '2.0' in 2019.
