Super Star Rajinikanth is currently acting in the direction of K.S.Ravi Kumar in a film titled 'Lingaa'. Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha are the female leads in this film.

The movie has been launched just a month back and the shooting work of the film is going on now. But the competition for the Telugu dubbing rights has been already started. A source close to the movie unit revealed that some Telugu distributors are willing to pay a huge amount of about Rs.30 crores for the film. It is well-known that the Telugu dubbing rights of Rajinikanth and Shankar's earlier film,'Robo', were bought for an amount of Rs.27 crores.

A.R.Rahman is the music director and Rathnavelu is the cinematographer for this film. Rockline Venkatesh, who is producing Ravi Teja's 'Power' at present, is producing this film.
