It was officially confirmed on Thursday that the grand audio release of Superstar Rajinikanth's mega budget si-fi flick '2.0' will take place at Dubrai in the month of October. Now the date and venue of the mega event has been confirmed by Raju Mahalingam, the Creative Head of Lyca Productions which is bankrolling '2.0' on an estimated budget of Rs.400 crores. 

Speaking to a leading English Daily. Raju Mahalingam has said that '2.0' audio launch has been scheduled to take place on Ocobter 27, 2017 and Burj Park in Dubai. The event will be graced by Rajinikanth. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar who plays the lead antagonist in the film and many other Indian film celebrities. The event will also be decorated by the live performance of songs from the film by  Isaiupuyal A.R.Rahman who has composed them. There will be a few other live performances which are not yet finalized.

Raju Mahalingam has said that there will be promotional events at various places in Dubai for a week's time and it will culminate in the audio launch. Over 35,000 audience are expected to watch the event on the auditorium. The makers also plan to erect a large LED screen so that people outside can also watch and enjoy the audio launch of this prestigious film. 

The teaser of '2.0' directed by Shankar will be released in November in Hyderabad while trailer will be released in Chennai in December 2017, a month prior to the film's theatrical release.
