Rajinikanth will flop in elections, Kamal will get zero: Poll

A poll conducted by India Today-Karvy has predicted that, if mid-term elections were to be held today in Tamil Nadu, Rajinikanth's party will win just 16 percent of votes or 33 seats in the 234-member TN assembly. This 16 percent vote share is more or less similar to Praja Rajyam Party's share in the 2009 Assembly elections to the then united Andhra Pradesh assembly.
DMK's MK Stalin is the most-preferred CM candidate. About half of the voters want to see him as their leader. AIADMK will lose badly.
Just 17 percent and 4 percent, respectively, prefer Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan as their CM.
It may be recalled that, as per another poll conducted a couple of months back, Kamal had an edge over Rajini. But the case has reversed today.
