Rajinikanth wants to act in Marathi films

After impressing one and all in B-town, Rajinikanth went to sought blessings from Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Tuesday.
Our birdies brought in few titbits about the special meeting between the two biggies. The meeting which was held in Mr. Thackeray's residence at ÂMatoshree' (Bandra) said to have lasted for nearly forty minutes. Rajini and Mr. Thackeray, birdies revealed, had discussed about the superstar's latest movie ÂRobotÂ. It seems Mr. Thackeray had enquired about the filmÂs technological details and its box office reports.
Thrilled on meeting Bala Sahab, Rajini remarked to sources that Mr. Thackeray is like God to him. Coming from Maharashtrian background, the superstar also expressed his wish act in Marathi films.
Rajinikanth had hosted a special screening for all his near and dear ones of Bollywood industry on Monday at PVR, Juhu.
