On Sunday, two colleagues and long-time friends had a curious brush at an event. Superstar Rajinikanth and Universal Star Kamal Haasan were special invitees at a government function to inaugurate a Shivaji Ganeshan memorial.

When Rajinikanth spoke, he seemed to take a swipe at the 'Vishwaroopam' star.

“It takes more than stardom to be successful in politics. Kamal knows what is needed, but that much can't be said about me. He would have told me that 2 months back, perhaps. He tells me to come along with him now," the '2.0' star has been quoted as saying.

For his part, Kamal said that he is ready to die in service of the nation. Kamal is sending ambiguous signals to his constituency, these days. It's not known if he is for, neutral or against the ruling BJP.
