In the peaceful protest organised by the Nadigar Sangam in Chennai on Sunday. Superstar Rajinikanth made a strong pitch for the constitution of Cauvery Management Board . He also surged the Chennai Super Kings Players to wear black badge to show their protest.

Rajinikanth said only the CMB as directed by the Supreme Court will be the acceptable solution for the struggles of Tamil Nadu farmers. He warned the Central Government that it will incur the wrath of the Tamil people if it fails to form CMB. 

Regarding the clamor for rescheduling the IPL matches to be held in Chennai as the people's attention will be diverted from Cauvery issue. the Superstar said it would be better if the organizers reschedule the matches respective people's sentiment. If that is not possible, the CSK players who represent Chennai should wear black badges while playing and make attract the nation's attention to the issue through this form of protest.
