More than two years after launching Rajini Makkal Mandram, Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth is reportedly going to launch his political party "any time after April 14."

As per Indian Express, the launch event will be a massive affair. In all likelihood, it will take place in a public place and will be attended by lakhs.

S Gurumurthy, a senior Sangh Parivar man and pro-RSS thinker, is said to be influencing Rajinikanth (on polarizing issues like CAA, NRC, NPR and others). Tamilaruvi Manian, too, says the report, is advising the 'Darbar' actor on politics.

Rajini is said to be willing to team up with PMK. His principal enemy will be the DMK. In this, the legendary actor will receive support from the BJP. An official alliance with the saffron party may not happen. However, a secret alliance has been and will be there between Rajini and BJP, some political commentators are saying.

Rajini will be wary of teaming up with TTV Dhinakaran, the report says.
