Dhanush has proved his worth as a director with his debut directorial 'Pa Paandi' aka 'Power Paandi'. There has been a speculation that a sequel to it will follow.

Now we learn from a source that Dhanush has started penning the script for 'Pa Paandi 2'. The source also adds that Dhanush plans to approach his father-in-law, the evergreen Superstar Rajinikanth, to act in the lead role in the sequel. As of now this is a too good to believe speculation and we cannot be sure whether this will become true or not as it depends on various factors.

If Rajini indeed does the film, he will have been in the mould of an Amitabh Bachchan, who can straddle a 'Piku' and a 'Sarkar-3'.

After completing '2.0', he will start shooting for a film produced by Dhanush. The same will be directed by Pa.Ranjith.
