Superstar Rajinikanth is on a trip to Himalayas and enroute he has been staying in various places in North India. On Tuesday he gave an interview to a popular media house while staying at Hrishikesh. This is what the actor said in the interview about the Himalayan visit and also his impending political career.

"It is like a spiritual charging for me. This is not the first time I am coming here. I started coming here since 1995. Regularly I come. But last eight years I did not come here for various reasons. This time I am visiting Dharmashala, Hrishikesh and Jammu on my way. I miss my freedom back in Chennai. There it is like a self imprisonment. I have come here to meditate and experience the Ganges. It will be a breather for me before I take a deep plunge into politics. I am 100% confident that I will do well in my political career like my acting career. "
