South megastar Rajinikanth will turn 64 this Saturday i.e. November 12. He has requested his fans to call off all plans that are made for his birthday, which is grandly celebrated like a ceremony in the city. This megastar wants to do it for the grave situation that has been caused by heavy rains in Tamil Nadu.

Sources say that, "As Tamil Nadu is limping back to normalcy after being struck by the worst rains in over a century, Rajinikanth has requested his fans to join hands and help the rain savaged people in relief work." Megastar Rajinikanth thinks that his duty to help the people of the state is more important than celebrating his birthday. We also get to know that, the official announcement of 'Enthiran 2' which was planned to be announced on Rajinikanth`s birthday has been postponed.

On the career front, the 63-year old star is currently shooting for his next Tamil movie 'Kabali' where he will be seen playing a gangster in the film.
