Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' which will be hitting the screens worldwide on July 22 was supposed to be screened in four Five Star hotels apart from theatres in Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka.

Credible sources reveal that due to opposition from the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce and Karnataka State Film Exhibitors Association, the plan to screen the much expected film in Five Star hotels for the first three days have been cancelled.

The tickets for watching the film in these posh hotels were priced at Rs.1,300 and Rs,1,400 including food and beverages. The tickets were sold through online ticket booking portals. Now the refund amount will be credited to the customer's bank account within five working days.

It is a sad thing that those who would have booked the tickets to watch the film in the star hotels may not be able to watch the film on first day at all, as it impossible to book tickets in theatres with just one and a half days to go for the film's release date.
