'Kabali' creates a new big record in Chennai

Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' has completed one week in the box office and it has been creating new Box office records all over the world. The film had collected Rs.6 crores in Chennai city alone in just four days of release. Now the performance of the film in its second weekend has proved that director Pa.Ranjith and his team have delivered a true big winner.
'Kabali' has emerged as the first ever film to collect Rs.2 crores in its second weekend in Chennai. With 98% occupancy of 642 shows across 22 theaters, the film has collected Rs.2,19,22,890 in the weekend between July 29 to 31. With this the total collection of the film in the metropolitan city comes close to Rs.10 crores within 10 days of release. The film has collected Rs.9,14,86,010 since its day of release (July 22- July 31)).
