Superstar Rajinikanth has created much interest in his stance on the Delhi riots that have claimed 27 lives and injured 200. On Wednesday night, the actor-politician blamed the Centre for failing with respect to intelligence. Strongly condemning the central government, he said that the anti-CAA protests should have been contained with an iron hand.

Opining that the intelligence failure lies at the doorstep of the Home Ministry, the 'Darbar' actor repeated that the CAA is not a threat to Muslims.

Rajini expressed his displeasure over being labelled as BJP's mouthpiece by his critics.

There is this view that Rajini didn't go against the BJP and that, in fact, he criticized the government for not doing enough to contain anti-CAA protests.
