Superstar Rajinikanth kept all forms of media outlets busy on Monday when he had a closed-door meeting with 37 of his Rajini Makkal Mandram district secretaries. Post the meeting he also told the waiting pressmen that he shared his opinions with his functionaries and also listened to theirs and would make an announcement soon whether he would enter politics in the near future or not.
Today Kamal Haasan had a meeting with his Makkal Needhi Maiam officials and the highlight was that former Tamil Nadu Secretary of IT Sudarshan Babu IAS joined the party. As usual the press asked Kamal if he would seek the support of Rajini in the coming assembly elections 2021 to which in his inimitable style he said that he would go to very door to seek votes and will surely not miss his good friend of fifty years.
Responding to a query on Rajini's dilemma whether to enter politics due to the pandemic situation, Kamal stated that as a friend his first priority is the health of Rajini, and only after that politics should come and his wellbeing is what he should opt for.
Kamal further stated that over the years he and Rajini have been fierce rivals on screen but have never envied each others successes. Fans of both the stars are once again witnessing that these two icons of Indian cinema who are poles apart in their ideologies and filmmaking styles always share a personal bonding that can never be shaken whatever comes.
