Ranjith reveals Rajinikanth's character in 'Kabali'

Superstar Rajinikanth will be acting in a realistic role that suits his real life age in his upcoming film 'Kabali'.

In his interview to a leading English daily, the Film's director Pa.Ranjith has revealed that Rajini plays the role of a do-gooder rowdy in the film. Thalaivar does not have any punch dialogue in the film but the director said that the title 'Kabali' itself is a punch in the film. Rajini will be appearing in without makeup in most part of the film. The 'Madras' director said that the Superstar accepted this role only because it is realistic and matches his real age and get up.

Meanwhile the shooting of the film is going on in Chennai since the mid of September. The director revealed that they will be moving to Malaysia next month to shoot important portions of the film.

'Kabali' produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu has Radhika Apte playing Rajini's pair while Ksihore, Rythwika, Kalaiyarasan, Dhanshika and many others are acting in supporting characters.
