The 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan started airing on Vijay tv from Sunday night and as usual the seasoned performer connected well with the live audiences as well as those at home. The sixteen contestants were introduced and this time there is much more variety as there is a balance between well known and little known celebrities.
A controversy has been raised as a painting of Superstar Rajinikanth in his 'Petta' avatar was noticed by the press when they were invited into the house a week earlier. However when the show aired the Rajini image was missing while Kamal's in 'Virumandi' get up was there prominently. Speculations have started that Kamal insisted to Vijay tv to remove his friend and rival Rajini's image.
Netizens are fighting on social media with Rajini fans criticising Kamal while the Andavar abhimaanis claiming that their idol has the Thalaivar photo prominently displayed in his house itself and he wouldn't have asked to remove it on sets.
Other views are that the Rajini image had him smoking and that's why it was removed by the creative team. But then questions are raised by netizens then why a smoking room exists in the 'Bigg Boss' house. Well a clarification can be expected pretty soon.
Having stayed at #BiggBossTamil3 house for a day last week, I am surprised that @rajinikanth portrait painted on the wall has been removed now. @vijaytelevision
