Now it is almost confirmed that Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' will not release in April as announced earlier Apparently more time is required to complete the enormous CG works related to this mega budget film directed by Shankar. 

Now the latest buzz in the industry is that 'Kaala' directed by Pa.Ranjith is likely to capitalize on this gap and the film will be hitting the screens on or around April 14, 2018 for the Tamil New Year weekend. 

Time and again speculations have raised  that 'Kaala' might precede the release of '2.0' but it has been denied by the makers of either of the films. So we will have to wait for an official confirmation in this regard. 

'Kaala' is the film in which Rajinikanth started acting months after '2.0' but this film has been completed earlier. 'Kaala' has been produced by Dhanush and we can expect the official announcement from the multi-talented star himself.
