Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak on Friday met superstar Rajinikanth at his Poes Garden residence in Chennai. While there have been talks going on that the superstar has been offered the honor of taking over as the Ambassador of Tourism, Malaysia, Rajinikanth has clarified the rumors when he spoke to the media earlier today. Here's what the leading actor said.
"When I heard that the Malaysian Prime Minister is visiting India, I invited him to my residence. He accepted my invitation and visited me at my place. He watched 20 minutes of 'Kabali', which he really enjoyed. He wanted more films to be shot at Malaysia. This meet was purely a courtesy visit only. Rumors of me becoming a Tourism Ambassador are not true."
Satisfying his fans' long term request, he also added that he will take photographs with fans from April 11 - 16.
