Superstar Rajinikanth today met the district secretaries of Rajni Makkal Mandram and addressed them publicly through video conference.
Speaking on the occasion, the legendary actor said that he wants to be a bridge between people's representatives and the government. He made it clear that his party will have a separate leader (himself as the President) and another person will run the government (as the Chief Minister).
Rajnikanth said that he has never imagined himself as a Chief Minister and that not wanting to be a CM is not a political stunt.
The 70-year-old actor added that his party will have 60-65% members below 50 years of age with reputation and social image, and 35-40% of members with a reputation from other parties who did not get opportunities, advocates, judges, IAS, IPS retired officers and people with experience.
