The 'Kabali' fever is likely to revisit again this May as Superstar Rajinikanth and Ranjith are all set to begin shooting their new movie produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films banner. We were one amongst the first to report that the shooting of the film will be predominantly in Mumbai.

Now news has surfaced that Rajini's 161st film is based on the life of the famous Tamil Muslim gangster Haji Mastan, who dominated in Mumbai through the Eighties and Nineties in the field of real estate and film financing. He was considered a hero by the Tamil Muslim community in Mumbai.

While Mastan lived a grey life, it will interesting to see how Pa.Ranjith is going to present the character.
