Such is the impact and clout of the irresistible Rajinikanth – the Asian superstar… It’s learnt from our highly placed sources that Rajinikanth has delivered a knockout punch to the Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar and won over his heroine in ‘houseful’, with all hands pants and everything down.

Deepika has said no to the sequel of ‘Housefull 2’ and instead will be seen with the Asian magician on screen Mr. Rajinikanth in his forthcoming ‘Rana’ to be made under the collaboration between International media house Eros International and Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studios.

The mega star Rajinikanth will be seen in triple role in this mighty multilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The movie is scheduled to go on floor in March this year, will have Music by A R Rahman, Cinematography is by Ratnavelu, Editing is by Antony and Art directed by Rajeevan. The technical and special effects director will be Soundarya Rajinikanth and Charles Darby of Eyeqube Studios, renowned visual effects luminary and an Emmy award winner will be the visual effects supervisor on the film. The film is scheduled to release early 2012.

Hmmmmmmm… so, is this the reason why ‘Housefull 2’ sequel got postponed…? And Akshay got a backache…? Because ‘Housefull 2’ was also scheduled to go on floor around the same time ‘Rana’ goes on floors…..

Well that’s Rajini the choice of millions after millions of many around the globe and Deepika has chosen the global icon over Akshay who is losing ground film after film.
