Has Superstar Rajinikanth's project with Kamal Haasan and director Lokesh Kanagaraj been shelved? Has the 'Vishwaroopam' actor given up on the plans to produce the film under Raaj Kamal Films International?
If the latest buzz in the industry is anything to go by, the project is very much on. Although nothing has been heard about it in the past few months, the project is very much alive.
Reports say that the 'Indian 2' actor is keen on bankrolling the movie with his long-time friend Rajinikanth as the hero. The '2.0' superstar will get busy with Siruthai Siva's 'Annaatthe' once he resumes shootings later this year. As of now, 'Annaatthe' is scheduled to release sometime in the first half of 2021. It seems Kamal's home production will kickstart sometime next year, depending on Rajini's schedule.
