Rajinikanth's Kabali to commence in Chennai

Contrary to the rumours that Kabali, directed by Ranjith, will commence shooting in Malaysia, the latest we hear is that superstar Rajinikanth is set to kick-start shooting for Kabali in September in Chennai on the auspicious day of Vinayaga Chathurthi.

Ever since the film`s announcement was made, it was rumoured that the shooting will commence in Malaysia. However, they will begin the first schedule in Chennai and then head to Malaysia for the second schedule.
