As we had reported earlier the ultimate Superstar Rajinikanth has given a free hand to director Ranjith to select the cast and technicians. While it is common to note big names- who would be recognized in national and international levels - working in a Rajini film crew, Kabali` will have technicians and artists who are in the initial stages of their career and those who have been longing to see the Superstar at least once in their lives.

Most of the cast and crew members appointed by Ranjith for Kabali` are those who have worked in his both or either of his previous two films Attakathi` and Madras`. Industry insiders say that Ranjith also used it as an opportunity to prove his gratitude for these technicians and artists who worked in his debut film without receiving a single penny as salary and paved way for a strong Launchpad for him in Kollywood.

Kabali` has Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Kalaiyarasan, Attakathi` Dinesh and Prakash Raj in its star cast. Santosh Narayanan is scoring music while G.Murali will be handling the cinematography.
