It is a sweet coincidence that the shooting of Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' and Thala Ajith's 'Vedhalam' are happening at the same place. Both the biggies are presentlybeing shot at the popular Binny Mills in Chennai.

'Vedhalam' directed by Siruthai Siva is in the last leg of shooting and the unit is targeting a Diwali release. On the other hand, the shooting of 'Kabali' directed by Pa.Ranjith has recently begun and the team has just moved to Binny mills after canning some scenes at the Russian Cultural centre Chennai.

The two films have some other similarities too. Rajini and Ajith are expected to play kind hearted don characters in their respective films. Both of them play the characters suiting their real life age in the films.
