The wait for Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ is over and the fever has begun with fans trying to catch the Thalaivar on the big screens and weekends getting packed with ‘Kaala’ plans. But here’s the big update! Pa Ranjith’s ‘Kaala’ has become the first ever Indian film to be released in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia!
There has been a ban on cinemas in Saudi Arabia for the past 40 years and just last April the ban was lifted. The first Hollywood flick to be released in Saudi was the much critically acclaimed ‘Black Panther’ on April 19. And now ‘Kaala’ has achieved the feat of becoming the first Indian movie to be screened in Saudi.
No doubt this comes off as a proud and exciting news for Rajini fans and cinema lovers all over the country and in Saudi Arabia as well. ‘Kaala’ produced by Wunderbar Films has an ensemble cast of Huma Quereshi, Samuthirakani, Easwari Rao and Nana Patekar as well.
