Rajinikanth is a natural friend of BJP: Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan has said it. Rajinikanth is a natural ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party, which had the actor's backing in the 2004 General Elections.
What makes him say so? Is it because he made the film 'Baba', on a lighter note? No. Rajini, says Kamal, is religious. So, the Superstar's religious beliefs make him a natural ally of the saffron party.
What about Kamal, who is an agnostic? "I am a rationalist," the 'Vishwaroopam' actor says, saying once again that saffron is definitely not his colour. (Recently, he had said that black is his colour in which all colours, including saffron, are included). In Tamil Nadu, the word "rationalist" is associated with the Dravidian thought system. Indirectly, he may have said that he is more inclined towards the DMK.
However, the difference in their beliefs is not going to make Kamal want to stay away from Rajini. "I am open to working with him," he once again said on Monday.
