Superstar Rajinikanth is in Lucknow for the next schedule of 'Petta' (Tamil title, Telugu one is yet to be announced). The latest schedule began on Friday and it is expected to continue over there for one month. The team also plans to shoot some sequences in other places of Uttar Pradesh such as Varanasi and Sonbhadra.

The UP Police have provided tight security for the film shoots and over 25 constables along with a Circle Officer are deputed for Rajinikanth's security alone. This apart, the production team has debuted 40 bouncers for the safety of Thalaivar.

it is said that over 60% of 'Petta' shoot has been completed. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddique, Simran, Trisha and many others. Anirudh is providing music score for this Sun Pictures production venture.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film has the '2.0' star in a very stylish look.
