The 67th National Film Awards were presented on Monday for films released in 2019 and censored that year. Rajinikanth the undisputed Superstar of Indian cinema, who has been ruling the box office for 45 years, was given the ‘Dada Saheb Phalke’ award for lifetime achievement by the Vice President of India.
Rajinikanth earlier stated that he was having twin delights on the same day the first one being the ‘Dada Saheb Award’ yesterday and the next is his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth launching her world class social media voice app Hoote.
Soundarya Rajinikanth on Monday launched Hoot that she co-founded along with businessman Sunny Bokola. Speaking at the event Soundarya stated ‘Dad had earlier sent me a voice note to tweet about starting his political party. The idea of Hoote was born from his (Rajinikanth) note. Dad knows how to read Tamil well but cannot write. I am revealing this only after consulting with my father.
Soundarya added that "The love that the people of Tamil Nadu have for him will not diminish because I have mentioned that he could not write Tamil." Rajini has been inspiring millions of his fans with humility, dedication, style and spirituality. Now he is also the main reason that social media users are going to easily communicate through voice, which is a big innovation in the world of technology.
