We all know that Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming flick 'Kabali' directed by Pa.Ranjith is a gangster flick and the star plays an ageing gangster in the film with his natural looks and hair style.

The details of all other characters has been kept under the wraps so far. The team has completed the shooting and the film is already in its post-production stage.

Now Ranjith has opened up about the character details in his third film and first with the evergreen Superstar, in his interview to a leading Tamil magazine.

Superstar Rajinikanth plays a gangster whose self confidence is his biggest asset. There will be no punch dialogues this time but there will be a lot of meaningful and powerful dialogues uttered by the Superstar in this film, which will send fans into the frenzy mode.

Radhika Apte who plays the wife of Rajinikanth in the film comes as a worker in an estate and her character name is Kumudhavalli.

Dhanshika also plays a bold gangster in this film and her character would oppose Rajinikanth's character giving him a tough challenge. It was being reported for quite sometime that Dhanshika is also the daughter of Rajinikanth in the film .We will have to wait and watch the film to know what surprise awaits us with respect to the relationship between these two characters in the film.

Dinesh plays a gang member while Kalaiyarasan is a Teacher. John Vijay plays the role of a trusted friend of Rajinikanth.

The young filmmaker also revealed that 'Kabali' has been shot for a total period of 115 days in Chennai, Thailand, Malaysia and Goa. The film has been produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu and musical score is by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is expected to hit the screens in late summer 2016.
