Karthik Subbaraj must be in cloud nine getting to direct Rajinikanth. The team had already wrapped up the first shooting schedule with the second schedule in full swing. Reportedly, the film’s third schedule will begin coming August in a Chennai studio.

The buzz is that Rajini will be essaying the role of a professor in the film. And during the night he turns a vigilante fighting against the obstacles that happen to the institution from outside evil elements. It is also worth mentioning here that Rajini played a similar role in SA Chandrasekhar’s ‘Naan Sigappu Manithan’.

An exciting update is also that Rajini will have a mass opening sequence and a song as well in the movie. So fans who were disappointed in ‘Kabali’ and ‘Kaala’ will get to enjoy Rajini’s swag in this movie. And another update is that Simran will appear as Rajini’s love only in the flashback portions and Vijay Sethupathi’s character is said to be equalling Rajini’s stature in the film.
