Rajinikanth becomes grandfather

Joy abounds in Rajinikanth's household.

'Super Star' Rajinikanth became grandfather. His daughter Aishwarya Dhanush gave birth to a baby boy at a private hospital in Chennai on Tuesday.

Aishwarya, who married actor Dhanush on 18 November 2004, delivered a baby boy and both the mother and the baby are hale and hearty.

Among those who visited the hospital included Dhanush, Rajinikanth, his wife Latha Rajinikanth, director Kasthooriraja and his family.

Rajinikanth, who was shooting for his Sivaji, reached hospital immediately after hearing the news of the birth of his grandson. Sweets were distributed to the staff at the hospital.
