Superstar Rajinikanth just returned to Chennai after being honoured with the Icon of Golden Jubilee Award for his contribution to arts and cinema at the 50th edition of the International Film Festival Of India (IFFI) on November 20 in Goa.

While addressing the media at the Chennai Airport, Rajinikanth mentioned that people from Tamil Nadu are responsible for the award he received at the IFFI in Goa and that he is dedicating the same to them. Kamal Haasan had earlier announced that he and Rajinikanth will come together for the welfare of Tamil Nadu if needed. When Rajinikanth was asked who among the two of them would be running for CM in case they decided to join hands, the actor mentioned that the decision will be made at the time of the election and that he didn't want to talk about it until then.

Much to the delight of people, Rajinikanth further added that he was confident that the people of Tamil Nadu will ensure a major miracle in the 2021 assembly elections.
