Rajinikanth visited Tuticorin today and announced cash relief of 2lakhs rupees for the kin of the 14 people killed in the police firing and Rupees 10 to 15 thousand for those injured. When he returned to Chennai the waiting newsmen barraged him with questions that evoked an angry reaction from the Superstar who left the meet abrubtly.

To the question how Rajini knew that antisocial elements penetrated the Sterlite protest and forced the police to retaliate, he shot back that he knew the truth and neednt explain it. He also asserted that the Tamil Nadu government should identify and expose those anti social elements to the people.

Rajini angrily retorted that he would never accept attacks on police personnel at any time and he also warned that if Tamil people start protesting for anything and everything Tamil Nadu will become a graveyard and stormed out of the press meet.
