It has been officially confirmed!!! The next film of Superstar Rajinikanth to be directed by young director Pa.Ranjith will go on floors in the first week of August in Malaysia. This film is going to be produced on a grand scale by Kalaipuli S.Thanu.

As per reliable sources the shooting will commence in Malaysia and the first schedule will go on for one month in Malaysia and Singapore. Most part of the film will be filmed in this schedule itself.

While the heroine of the film is yet to be confirmed a few supporting actors have been reportedly finalized and they are veteran actor Prakash Raj, Dinesh who played the lead role in Ranjith`s debut film Attakathi` and Kalaiyarasan who played an important supporting role in the director`s second film Madras`. Santhosh Narayanan gets to score music for a Thalaivar` for the first time with this yet to be titled film.
