Karunanidhi unites Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan

Murasoli is the Tamil Daily newspaper run by Kalaignar M.Karunanidhi the five time Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Recently the DMK celebrated the 50th year of the veteran politician as a State Assembly member. Now 'Murasoli' is in its 75th year and hence they have organised a grand Pawala Vizha.

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who is making news for his relentless criticsm against the ruling AIADMK government will be one of the Guest speakers in the event to be held on August 10th in Chennai. Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu is another speaker among the list of dignitaries.

The invitation for 'Murasoli Pavala Vizha' has been released and that mentions the names of these two film industry veterans.

Now we learn that Superstar Rajinikanth has also been invited for the function and the Superstar has given his nod to participate in the event. It is not clear whether he will also speak at the event or he will just attend as a spectator.

It is worth noting that both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan share a great friendship with the nonagenarian politician who has been confined to his home for the past several months due to age related ailments. It is quite clear that both the stalwarts of Tamil cinema would have accepted to be part of this event only for their respect for Kalaignar and this should not be given political colour.
