As we had reported earlier Superstar Rajinikanth was one of the first to make a personal visit and pay his last respects to Cho Ramaswamy who passed away this morning.
Addressing the media persons, Rajinikanth said "Cho and I have been friends since 1978. He is an icon in the realm of media. He has never had feat to talk about anyone. His friend circle is so big. He has had a close friendship with many Prime Ministers of the country. National level leaders treated his words and writings with utmost respect. I convey my heartfelt condolences to the family members of Cho who suffering with this irreparable loss."
Rajinikanth's professional rival Kamal Haasan was also a close friend and an avid admirer of Cho. He has conveyed his condolence in Twitter saying
"Another icon leaves us. Deepest condolences to the family and fans."
