When will Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' release?

The shooting of '2.0', the mega budget sequel to 'Enthiran' has just begun last month. The film is being directed by Shankar with Superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in the lead roles and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar plays the antagonist role.

The film is being produced by Lyca Productions on a huge budget of Rs.350 crores.

Rajinikanth after taking part in the first schedule of shooting of this film has now moved to 'Kabali' directed by Pa.Ranjith which is expected to release in May 2015. After finishing his commitments for 'Kabali' the Superstar will work on '2.0' throughout this year.

The team has planned to release the film for Pongal 2017.
